AHEAD mobility solutions GmbH and hepster start cooperation
Rostock, 04 June 2024 - Mobility consultancy AHEAD mobility solutions GmbH and InsurTech hepster announce their new partnership offering bicycle and eBike insurance solutions for companies/employers and their employees. The aim of the cooperation is to provide comprehensive and user-friendly insurance products that cover the growing need for sustainable and safe mobility.
Shared vision for future-oriented mobility
Through the cooperation, hepster is further expanding its presence on the Austrian market and is increasingly establishing its tried-and-tested insurance products outside Germany. AHEAD can now offer its customers improved comprehensive insurance solutions for bicycles and e-bikes.
AHEAD mobility solutions GmbH specialises in the development and provision of holistic mobility services. This also includes analyses of the current mobility situation in companies, the development of individual mobility concepts and the implementation of sustainable mobility solutions.
hepster is a leading InsurTech company that specialises in customised insurance products for the digital market. Through the cooperation with AHEAD, hepster will provide its bicycle and e-bike insurance products for the AHEAD mobility platform to offer users comprehensive protection.
Comprehensive insurance cover for bicycles and e-bikes
The insurance products offered by hepster include a wide range of benefits tailored to the needs of bicycle and e-bike users. The insurance cover includes the following areas, among others:
- The insurance benefits in the FleetSafe® CORE package count for both the purchase and leasing of company bikes. Two key use cases within the mobility solution are covered:
- Cover for the purchase of company bikes
- Cover for company bike leasing
- Material damage due to destruction, damage, operating errors and improper handling.
- Protection against theft, burglary and robbery.
- Protection against electronic and moisture damage to the battery, motor and control units.
- Protection against wear and tear damage to tyres, brakes and battery
Further advantages of the FleetSafe® CORE package include compensation at replacement value in the event of total damage and theft for the duration of the contract (36/48/60 months). Hepster was able to impress with its proven price-performance ratio and stable insurance premiums over the entire term.
Focus on service comfort and sustainability
hepster's user-friendly partner portal was a decisive factor in the co-operation. User management and administration of company bike fleets are significantly simplified. AHEAD was also impressed by the ability to book insurance directly in the portal, manage the bike fleet in the portal and view contracts via a real-time overview. This means significantly reduced administrative work and transparent collective invoicing with detailed information.

Following the successful launch of the FleetSafe® CORE insurance package on 1 June 2024, hepster and AHEAD are already preparing another insurance package with FleetSafe® PREMIUM.
