Rostock, 05.11.2020 - The Frankfurt-based Covomo insurance comparison service has gained another cooperation partner in InsurTech hepster. From now on, hepster's (e-)bike insurance policies will be included in Covomo's digital online comparison calculator. The integration of hepster electronics insurance is already being planned. Brokers and broker pools can thus easily integrate hepster's cover into their offering via Covomo.

Advantages for brokers: hepster insurance now also at Covomo

The insurance policies from the Rostock-based InsurTech company are already available via numerous digital booking channels. Just in time for the end-of-year business, hepster insurance policies are now being integrated into Covomo's offering. The advantage for individual brokers and broker associations is that the insurance policies are available directly and easily via Covomo, meaning that brokers do not need to connect to hepster separately.

All booking steps are fully automated, from configuration and data transfer to contract conclusion. Claims settlement is also handled completely digitally via hepster, so that insurance brokers and their customers benefit from high-performance insurance cover in real time. "We are delighted to have another InsurTech on board with hepster," says Athanasios Almbanis, Key Account Manager at Covomo, about the cooperation. "By combining our experience and expertise in the field of digital insurance, we can offer our cooperation partners a fast application and conclusion process for their customers - within a few minutes - with optimum protection."

Strengthening customer loyalty through a broad portfolio

For Covomo, the focus of the new cooperation is particularly on strengthening customer loyalty between brokers and their customers through needs-based insurance policies in all product segments. In the past, so-called "niche and micro products" were given less consideration due to a lack of demand from brokers. However, customer demand for needs-orientated and suitable insurance is increasing. Through its cooperation partners, which now include hepster, Covomo forms an interface for brokers and the new requirements of their customers.

Strong protection for (e-)bikes and electronics

The excellent bicycle and e-bike insurance policies from hepster are currently offered via Covomo. Electronics insurance for smartphones, tablets, cameras and laptops will follow shortly. The complete range of insurance products will be available in monthly and annual subscriptions, which are particularly popular with end customers.

hepster's strong bike protection covers new and used (e-)bikes worldwide against the financial consequences of damage, wear and tear and theft without excess and usage restrictions. This means that even rented or commercially used bikes can be protected without any problems. The offer is optimally complemented by a bicycle and e-bike cover letter, which guarantees 24-hour emergency assistance throughout Europe in the event of a breakdown or accident.

With electronics insurance from hepster, new and used mobile devices can be insured regardless of their age. The worldwide cover is available for mobile phones and tablets as well as cameras and laptops and provides comprehensive protection for popular devices against damage and optional theft.
